INSTRUCTORS

Hailey Papp - Lead Instructor/ Manager

Hailey Papp began dancing when she was 3 years old in Fort Myers, Florida. She was trained in several genres including tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and contemporary, acro, and hip hop. She began competing with her studio when she was 5 years old, taking home many high scores and national titles. At the age of 16, she was a summer teacher at her dance studio teaching ballet and pointe intensives.

Her love for dance continued to grow as she majored in Dance Education at the University of Tampa, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts specializing in Brain Compatible Dance Education in 2020. While in college, she continued her competition career on the Spartan Scarlets Dance Team and became a founder of UT’s chapter of Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity. She has also performed and choreographed multiple works for the University of Tampa’s Fall and Spring Dance Happening as well as performed in the annual Spring Dance Concert.

In Tampa, Hailey taught 4 years at Brucie Klay’s Dance Center teaching all ages and genres including tap, jazz, and ballet. She also had the privilege of joining Brucie Klay’s competition staff this past year with her piece receiving overall scores at each competition. Hailey is very excited for her new chapter in Charlotte and to grow with Bravo Dance Academy!

As well as dance, Hailey has found a passion for barre fitness. She was trained in Pure Barre’s Classic technique in 2020 and has taught group fitness classes to adults multiple times a week. In 2021, she received her second certification in Pure Barre’s Reform technique continuing her education and allowing her to diversify their teaching schedule. Hailey feels that being a Pure Barre teacher has also helped her grow as a dance teacher and vice versa

Kaylee Bravo Tuttle

Kaylee was born in New York and moved to Charlotte, NC at the age of five. She began dancing at just three years old and quickly fell in love with the art form. Growing up, Kaylee trained and competed in a wide range of styles including jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, acro, and Carolina shag.

By the age of 16, Kaylee began sharing her passion through teaching. She went on to attend East Carolina University, where she continued dancing on the club dance team and served as president throughout her college years.

After graduation, Kaylee joined her sister at Bravo Dance Academy, where she taught and helped shape young dancers before stepping away to attend law school. Now a licensed attorney, Kaylee is thrilled to be back at Bravo, doing what she loves most—teaching, inspiring, and helping kids find their own passion for dance alongside her sister once again.

Sydney Nestor

Sydney has had a love for dance for as long as she can remember, starting classes at just two years old. Growing up in Cornelius, NC, dance quickly became not only a hobby but a lifelong passion. By the age of five, she was competing on stage and continued performing competitively all the way through high school, developing both technical skills and a strong appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and self-expression. She trained extensively in a variety of styles, including ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap, and hip hop, giving her a versatile foundation as both a performer and instructor.

After high school, Sydney went on to attend East Carolina University, where she studied Exercise Physiology. While at ECU, she stayed closely connected to the dance world, performing with and serving as Vice President of a student-led dance organization, Dance Xtensions. This experience allowed her to combine her love of movement with leadership, creativity, and community building.

With a background rooted in both dance and the study of human movement, Sydney has developed a passion not only for performing, but also for helping others discover the joy of dance while supporting physical health and longevity. Now working in the healthcare field with a concierge medical firm, Sydney is thrilled to continue sharing her love of dance with the next generation. She hopes to inspire dancers of all ages to move with confidence, joy, and a sense of lifelong wellness.

Drew Cooley

Drew was born in Asheville, NC, and began her dance career when she was 8 and wanted to try out musical theater. What started as a small interest quickly grew into a passion when she discovered how much she loved performing on stage, especially through dance. She trained in jazz, hip hop, tap, contemporary, and ballet, each style helping her build a well-rounded foundation and shaping her into a versatile performer and instructor.

It became clear that she was eager to pursue ballet more seriously, leading her to train at the Asheville Ballet and ultimately begin pointe work. Throughout her eight years at the studio, she not only trained intensively but also began assisting in classes at the age of 15. This experience opened her eyes to the joy of teaching, as she discovered that helping others uncover their own passion for dance was just as rewarding as performing herself.

After graduating from high school, she began attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she will be getting a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Criminal Justice in the Fall of 2025. Throughout her academic career, she remained committed to keeping dance an important part of her life, continuing to train and take classes whenever possible. Teaching became another meaningful way for her to stay connected to dance, allowing her not only to refine her own skills but also to inspire and encourage younger dancers along their journeys.

Tayde Morales Sanchez

Tayde’s dance journey officially began in 2018 as one of the founding dancers at Bravo Dance Academy, though her love for movement started much earlier—dancing around the house with her sisters.

As her passion grew, Tayde discovered the true joy of dance comes from sharing it with others. Teaching has become her favorite way to express that joy, helping students connect with the beauty and expression of dance.

Tayde is incredibly excited and grateful to be teaching this year, and she looks forward to creating unforgettable memories with her students both in and out of the studio.
